- Razz
Razz is a game that many poker players love to hate. Part lowball, part 7 card stud, the goal is to make the best five-card low hand from the seven cards you are dealt. It is played with anywhere from 2-8 players.
Each player starts with two hole cards and one upcard (the "door" card); the dealer then gives each active player three more upcards, and then a final downcard, called the "river" (face down). Each player ends up with 7 cards, four face up and three face down. At the showdown, the player holding the best low hand using only five of his seven cards wins the pot.
Aces are always low, and flushes and straights have no ranking. The best possible hand is A-2-3-4-5 (a wheel).
Unlike 7 card stud, an open pair does not affect the betting limit. If at any point only one player remains at the end of any round of betting, that player wins the pot.
Each new hand begins with each player putting an ante into the pot. For example, in a $2/$4 limit game, each player would ante 40 cents. The ante does not count toward any future bets.
When you first sit down at a table, you are prompted to ante, after which you will immediately receive a hand.

- 7 Card Stud
7 card stud, or simply 7 stud, is a game that most home game players know. The game is played at an eight-handed table.
Seven card stud is the most popular version of stud poker. It is played with two and eight players. Every player is dealt a total of 7 cards, three of them face down, and four face up. The objective of seven card stud is to make the best five card hand using any combination of the 7 cards dealt.
7 card Stud is one of the most commonly played card games in poker. The basic concepts are easy to learn making it an attractive game to new players. To master the game, however, is very difficult.
- 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo
7 card stud high-low is a variant of seven card stud. The game is also
called 7 card stud 8-or-better, 7 card stud split, or 7 card stud/8
(and indicated on the lobby tab as stud H/L).
In this game the high hand winner must split the pot with the player with the best qualifying low hand. There is always a high hand winner but not always a low. For a hand to qualify for low, it must have five denominations no higher than an eight. Any five of your 7 cards may be played for high and any five can be played for low. Aces are played both high and low. Straights and flushes do not disqualify a hand for low, so a player ending with 5 4 3 2 A would have an unbeatable low hand and a 5 high straight to play for high. This hand would have an excellent chance of winning both ways. In this example, the player could also have another hand that is higher than the 5 high straight to play for high.
