Sit & Go Tournament Rules and Schedules at UltimateBet
Sit & Go Tournaments Description
Sit and Go's are single table tournaments where players do not have to register in advance to play.
A table will go up on the site at the scheduled time and anyone who is on the site can take a seat at it to play. Once the table is full, the table will automatically begin dealing. If all seats are not taken, the tournament will not begin. The only requirement the player must meet is to have a real money account with enough money to cover the tournament buy-in and fee. This amount varies depending on the type of Sit and Go that is running.

Tournament Sit and Go Rules
- These are single table tournaments
- The tournament begins shortly after all seats are filled
- Once a player chooses a seat and the tournament begins, they cannot change seats
- Refunds are automatically given to players only if they leave the table prior to the tournament starting
- Breaks are not given during sit and go tournaments
- All players begin with equal chip amounts in our standard sit and go tournaments.
- UltimateBet.com does not sanction, facillate, or enforce deals. If you make a deal you are doing so at your own risk and deal making is not allowed in the chat box at the table. Deals are not enforced by the cardroom.
- The button is assigned to the player who first takes a seat at the table.
- Tournaments are played until one player has all the chips
- In tournaments when two players get eliminated in the same hand, the person who started the hand with the most chips gets the higher finish and awarded the corresponding prize pool for that placement. If the players began the hand with the same amount of chips, they will tie and the prize pools will be combined and equally distributed. (For example, if 2 people who started a hand with the same number of chips are eliminated at the same time and would be 9th (which pays $60) and 10th (which pays $40), their standings would show tied for 9th and each player would be paid $50)
- Players who have an active internet connection and do not act during their turn will be folded.
- UltimateBet.com uses the dead button feature to ensure that all players take the big blind in their turn. As such, it is possible that a player will receive the button for more than one hand. It is also possible that a big blind is posted in a hand but no small blind, if the person who was to receive the small blind was eliminated from the tournament in the previous hand
- If there is a split pot, not equally divisible by the number of players in the hand, the 'extra' chips will be awarded to the player closest to the left of the button.
- In limit tournaments bets are limited to 4 during each betting round, the initial bet plus 3 raises. This is true regardless of the number of players remaining in the tournament.
- In no-limit and pot-limit tournaments there is no restriction on the number of raises allowed during a betting round.
- When two players remain in the tournament, the player due to receive the big blind will do so and the player in the small blind position will inherit the button.
- Players who lose connection during an event will be blinded off until such a time they can rejoin their tournament.
- In the event a tournament is cancelled due to technical difficulties at UltimateBet.com, players who were already eliminated from the event will lose their buy-in and fees. The remaining players in the event will be paid the prize money based on their chip stacks and standings in the tournament at the time the tournament stops running.
- UltimateBet's standard all-in policy applies to UltimateBet tournaments.
- Soft playing or chip dumping is not allowed. Players involved in these or other unethical activities may be eliminated from a tournament and/or have their accounts terminated.
- Tournament players must adhere to the rules outlined in our User Agreement
- UltimateBet.com reserves the right to alter the rules and make final decisions on all tournament related issues as they arise, and at our sole discretion
- During game play, players are prohibited from chatting about the play of their and/or their opponents' hands until all actions for that hand are complete. Such chat could result in disqualification or other penalties.
- In case of disputes decisions made by UltimateBet are final.
